Days Role, Monday to Friday working 5am to 5pm, 7am to 7pm, 10am to 10pm
Mechanical Engineer required for a Maintenance role within manufacturing. This well-established manufacturing company produce products for the construction industry. The new Engineering manager is looking to grow and develop a brand new maintenance department – this is an excellent opportunity to come on board as there’s a lot of investment and training available.
The company are experiencing a period of growth. This site is implementing more efficient processes and are going from strength to strength.
The successful candidate can be from ANY Mechanical Engineering background. It is essential you feel confident commissioning, servicing and maintaining hydraulics and pneumatics. Those from ex forces and or service backgrounds are encouraged to apply (as well as other similar backgrounds).
The Role itself is situated within a busy heavy manufacturing environment. You will be working on the likes of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, gears, bearings and motore. Those with basic electrical understanding are encouraged to apply.
A PPM schedule is being implemented as the department grows. You will also be responsible for reactive breakdowns ensuring equipment is up and running as quickly as possible. The company are looking to move towards a more proactive approach within maintenance, and time will be allocated on shift for continuous improvement work.
